Kris is a lawyer, a mediator and a communicator. He has 20 years+ experience in the legal profession, from outside to inhouse counsel, serving multiple industries ranging from pharmaceutical over banking to construction. Throughout his career, he has been committed to remain a true generalist, with a keen eye for detail without losing the big picture. He is passionate about brands and business, so much so that he took leave of the legal profession to venture into strategic marketing. And he is a communicator: a freelance journalist as a hobby led to a role in corporate and strategic communications. With that extra dimension and experience, if Kris is a lawyer today, he is probably the most commercial one you can imagine.

As a certified privacy professional (CIPP/E and CIPM – IAPP), Kris also supports companies with GDPR compliance and can act as (external) data privacy officer.
